MUSHROOMS ON THE ROAD

                                   Hello everyone from the new blog✋

We had many trips to be going on as of Januar .. Sibiu and Sigisoara after our trip to Belgrade on the last blog.  HAHAHA actually I'm a little worried, I constantly share our travels with you. But we wanted to evaluate our free time of 1 week after the New Year's holiday. The office agreed to give the mushroom family a 2- day holiday. Thank you to Nevo and our coordinators 💟

  For a long time, we wanted to go on a novel trip with Caro. We are in Romania for 1 year next to our travels to Europe. We wanted to see their beauty in the country I lived. We planned our route for SIBIU and SIGISOARA on the advice of other volunteers. While talking about our plan, they wanted to join us in other mushrooms. ANDD  so we were ready to make our first trip. After the Friday meeting, we set off from the office and headed towards Sibiu with hitchhiking. We were divided into 2 groups. I, Caro, Paola and Karo and Spiros 🚗🚋🚌

We completed the 4-hour road in 7 hours: I don't even remember how many cars we changed. We were trying to reach out to our friends while we were sitting in petrol office after 5 hours and eating our cold sandwiches. ( so poor).  Kora and Spiros were not as lucky as us. I think it is a great advantage to be a girl while hitchhiking. 😏
     Anyway..  we arrived at Sibiu in the evening, and found house from airbnb.(I think couchsurfin and airbnb were two life-saving apps during my travels throughout EVS. )
We were dying because of tired and trying to take some info about Karo and Spiro. Everyone sincerely wished they didn't die from somewhere 😂😥 Finally, They arrived home after a 10-hour journey. We needed energy for tomorrow. But also we had a lot of amazing road memories. and Everybody wanted to share. I started making the puzzle I found at home, same time we were drinking wine and beer and telling our road memories to each other. Even though we are so tired, I can't tell you how much we are laughing..
We closed the night with a big smile and sleepy eyes on our face..

     The next morning, we left home early to visit the city. The day, was longer than I expected. We visited every corner of the city. The snow city had made it even more beautiful. It was a small historical city. But we are big enough to find everything we are looking for. We didn't have a lot of money in our pocket, but we had friends and jokes. 😅💝  While walking, a pub is very close to home. As a result of the research, the chance smiled at us. There was a beer pong contest tonight !! We decided to stay one night extra. Well, there is no one who plays better than us.
Maybe we can't tell everybody about the night, But I can say we're having fun like crazy. We all got drunk and couldn't win a game ...

  Sigisoara was 3-4 hours away. We arrived at night in our hotel. The next morning we fell in love with this special little town. Dracula fortress and house. Historical houses, old mills were worth seeing. Our trip ended here. We completed our first trip with a lot of funny stories  with Mushrooms.

Then the time has come ..    MUSHROOMS IN THE HOUSEEE 🍄


     We have returned to work. Winter was exactly in Romania. It was all white, but just as cold. We continued to work for ice skating. At the same time, we were trying to produce new activities that could be done for Roman children. Towards the middle of the moon, some of our friends with love have finished their projects and we bid farewell to them with a beautiful party. We missed you guys ..
We have planned another trip for the weekend towards the end of the month with Caro. My friends from Amsterdam had invited. But for flight time, we had to set off early on Friday, but we had a meeting! And I think we used our last chance for Sibiu. We told the office a little lie. But of course they understood because it was so stupid. We apologized and we promised again that we will not lie again. Our coordinators forgave us. Thank you very much for not letting our tickets burn.💙

      Anyway .. We landed at the Memmingen airport on our first flight on Friday. YES!! this place was not Munich! We gave another 20 Euros and got on the bus. We noticed that there were mistake in the return tickets on the way and we lost money again. 😨
While we were poor, we were going to be poorer.  "FUCKING GERMAN " We still keep saying this. The city is one of the most expensive countries in terms of food and transportation. At least the Austrian, Salzburg tickets we added later were only 5 euros.
Thanks God, Our friends did not leave us alone on a 2-day trip to Munich. We traveled from the city by tram without paying money from head to head. For hours .. But now I know as well as the palm of my hand. Then we tried the university life and student pubs there. Plenty of beer, potatoes ...
ALSO, I had so  interesting information from my friends. On the way to the city, we were talking about the classical music that was playing all over the city, and life is too expensive .. than my friend said; so many people committed suicide by throwing themselves on the train tracks. and that was normal for them now !! But we were shocked.
Anyway..

Then we set off for Salzburg, an hour away. With the super luxury flix bus 😁 Salzburg impressed us more than Germany with its big castle, water channels, art lover and of course Mozart. After a day trip, we stayed one more night in Munich and were ready to return home.
I think we have to take a break for travel because Turkey and Portugal, Spain on the money we need..

                                     So we came to the end of January. See you next month.
